Cookie Policy

Effective August 15, 2026

Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. This page lists the categories used here, what each one is for, roughly how long it lasts, and exactly how to switch off the ones you do not want.

First-party and third-party

First-party cookies are set by namechuckle.com. Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services appear on the page — analytics and advertising partners, and retailers after you click an outbound link. I control the first group; the third parties control theirs, under their own policies.

What this site deliberately does not do

There is no newsletter popup, no account login and no social media tracking script embedded in these pages. The Pinterest save buttons are ordinary links to Pinterest’s pin-create page — they load no Pinterest code and set no Pinterest cookie until you click one.

Turning cookies off

In your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. The controls are under Settings → Privacy in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and Settings → Safari → Privacy on Apple devices. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.

Advertising specifically. Opt out of personalized advertising at optout.aboutads.info, optout.networkadvertising.org, or, in the EEA and UK, youronlinechoices.eu. You will still see ads — they just will not be personalized.

Analytics specifically. Browser tracking protection, a content blocker, or a Global Privacy Control signal will keep you out of analytics counts where the provider supports it.

Consent banner. Where a consent banner is shown, non-essential cookies are not set until you accept, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s cookies and reloading the page.

Similar technologies

“Cookies” here also covers local storage, pixels and similar technologies used for the same purposes. The same categories, consent requirements and opt-outs apply.

Updates

This policy changes when the tools on the site change. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
